The product is a fine product. I have been using it for 2 weeks, there is definitely some subtle changes in the pigmentation. I have an acne prone skin, but I never had any purging or breakouts following the use, which is great. I am using it in combination with upakarma niacinamide . And it is working positively on my skin. The problem area was the packaging. It was shipped from Maharashtra. The product had broken out of the original pack and was lying inside the upakarma carton. As usual, the product was not sealed. I was lucky I was sitting on the bed when i opened it otherwise it would have fallen to the floor and broke. The niacinamide I got was shipped from Bangalore and it was perfectly packed. So, careful when you open it.

My skin type is combi, and this serum works perfectly for me. Used 1 bottle and now starting 2nd, haven’t face any skin issues. As this product claims “brighten complexion”, it does it work well. It will not give instant fareness but with the time it will made complexion 1-2 shades lighter. However, skin complexion was not my concern i used it to avoid acnes. It is Lightweighted serum gives u vevety texture. I like it.

The product is good for detaning and also brightens your skin at a level. My skin got soft after using. And my acne scars did lighten at some level. And i guess you have to use the whole bottle for the result. Am still using it but i do get breakouts nd i dont know if it’s from the vitc. Overall its been more thn a month m using so there is no any speedup process going on.. I did hve som scars which got lightened but they are still there. So ill recommend you use a good brand always nd quality vitc.. Nd i heard retinol is the best.

So, I am posting this review after 25 days of regular usage. This was my first try (addition) with serum in my daily skin routine. I bought this after reading many articles about vitamin c and ingredients that they have mentioned. Also, I have seen many videos of the same. And oh boy! I’m loving it. This one doesn’t have any fragrance and it’s super light on skin (face and neck). It gets absorbed on skin quickly so that you can apply moisturizer and sunscreen. I didn’t notice or see any reaction on my skin post applying. Also, please note my skin is combination and mostly weather based. So, right now in May/ june it’s oily because of dry and hot weather. I started seeing visible difference on my skin in 7-10 days ..skin became more clearer and even I would say. It didn’t look dull. I’m so gonna repurchase once it’s done.

The product I received was best and vitamin C serum are generally aren’t affordable, getting vitamin C at such price. The smell is light and lemoney, it won’t work as magic at first but being consistent results best. Just take 2-3 drop on palm and dab it on your face and let it absorbs. Writing review after 1 month usage of upakarma Vitamin C serum.I have a combination skin type and I had acne vulgaris since 2 years. After seeing a lot of dermatologists and using thousand creams and products on my skin, not to forget about the medicines I have been consuming since couple of years, nothing seems to work on my skin. Then I did research on my own and below is the skin care routine I followed to get rid of acne, darkspots, pimples, white heads, black heads and uneven skin in 4 weeks. (***Primary CONDITION: works only if u follow the routine religiously***)Daily skin routine (try to use all as much natural products as possible)1. Facewash in the morning2. After washing my face I had applied it and used a moisturizer.I’d recommend using one or to maximum three drops not more. After applying it, pat it well. So that it doesn’t feel sticky at all. That’s how u know it has been absorbed well.The difference is visible. I have kept using it. It does smell citrus like.

But in 3 days there isn’t much effect that can be even be measured. It does suit for all types of skin types, I experimented this on my face, my sister’s and my mum who all have different skin types and didn’t face any side effects. So, it’s good and soft on the skin. Just doesn’t fulfil the 3 day goal. Good product.

This Vitamin C serum from upakarma is good for use. If I talk about it’s texture, it is sheer and I didn’t find any cloudy texture which usually happens with Vit. C serums after storing them for sometime. I haven’t observed any such change in the texture of this serum, it’s been more than 12 days.Love love this product!! I have been using this for one month now..6-7 drops every morning after cleansing, moisture before if required, wait for 1-2 min for it to absorb to your skin and put on your sunscreen.. This minimal skin care did wonders to my skin..it has a lemon like smell loved it, but people who don’t like strong scent avoid buying thisIt started to work after 5-6 days of use , pigmentation was taken care to a good extend..and as for the acne marks, the light and small ones were fading away.. and the darker ones is becoming lighter, not completely gone but far far better.. for them may be I ll have to use some other product..But this one for sure helped to clear the pigmentation and light acne marks!! The product comes in a glass bottle which is an eco-friendly option. It works wonderfully well for moisturizing dry skin (especially in winters). It is lightweight and non-oily which makes the skin look fresh.It helped me to get rid of problems like patchy skin and dullness (that too within the first week only).I wasn’t able to observe much difference in my spots (but yes, it brightened my skin). So maybe we can expect it after using it for a month or so.

I have combination skin to moisture it is great but it is little sticky while applying on face and very light weighted and I think this is the best product from upakarma which I have been using since last few days. I did not see any results yet but Dark Sport is getting a little lighter than before and it is so easily visible that it is better to use it along with upakarma Day and Night Cream for better results. Great things take time so it’s better to try it for more than a week. The only downside about this product is that it is very expensive and a very small quantity in a high price. Otherwise, it is good so far, let’s see the results as the days pass. I will recommend it to give it a try.

I have used this product for 3 weeks as of now, and I am so so so impressed with it. The formulation is lightweight and absolutely non comedogenic. It works wonders with pigmentation and tan removal, and pore minimization. It actually stands by its claims on the product label and I am in awe at the product efficacy. However, just one thing I was not happy about is the packaging. Vitamin C is unstable and can be rendered ineffective by light. A darker bottle would have increased its shelf life. Other than that, 10/10 recommend!

I have used upakarma Vitamin C serum for about a week now and here’s how I would break it down in terms of the following aspects -1. Packaging – Quantitywise , the 30 ml variant holds adequate amount of product and seems worth the price paid ( Rs.314).2. Texture – The serum has surprisingly a very light weight formula and takes up only 5-10 mins for it to get completely absorbed into the skin.3. Effectiveness – I have an extremely dry skin which needs to be moisturized multiple times a day for it not feel dehydrated. However , since the past week , I have been noticing the serum keeps my skin hydrated throughout the course of the day and I don’t feel a strong need to moisturize it again and again. The best thing about this product is that even on the most humid days , it doesn’t make my skin feel sticky which infact most serums in the market that I have used , end up doing.It works well on dark spots and patches that happen due to consistent exposure to sun and while I wouldn’t say they have completely vanished in a week’s time but yes I do see a noticieable difference. I have been using the new upakarma Vitamin C Bright Complete serum and I must say that it’s really working for me. I have used it for 3 days now and I can already see that my dark spots have become less visible. It also moisturizes my skin and is light, hence I can use it in the morning as well. Although I am not seeing any difference in my acne marks yet but I think that’s because it’s too soon to coment. It’s one of the affordable Vitamin c serums easily available, has a thick consistency but light on the skin, doesn’t feel heavy, spreads out and gets absorbed easily so thumbs up for that. Also it gives an instant glow.However what’s worth mentioning is that they haven’t specified the percentage of Vit C. Also spotless skin in 3 days? (That’s short period for any result to show up). It has a citrusy strong fragrance which might be sensitising on most skin.Talking about ingredients, it contains Salicylic acid, Niacinamide, and Vit E, which do provide moisturisation but since it also contains drying alcohol which might dry out the skin in long run.Overall better ingredient and reformation of product needed from upakarma, I didn’t notice any lightening effect of using it for a week however it might work for some after prolonged usage.

However, the lightening of spots in 3days is completely rubbish. This is the first time for me using a face serum. As I had good impression on upakarma products, and I have a dull, tanned( on forehead) and uneven skin, so I went for it. It’s been 1 wk I have been using it, And I can definitely feel the difference as it has smoothen and brighten my face. Well I am not a big fan of the smell and I am not even complaining because it actually does what it claims. one can actually feel the way it feeds/nourishes the skin as it retains the moisture for long and best for night use. I use the serum twice daily as follows-1. Cleanse my face and neck2. Use scrub (I use that of upakarma)3. Wash and pat dry. Take pea size of the serum on both cheeks, on forehead and one for the chin and neck area. And then I go on dabbing gently with my fingertips to cover the whole face till it gets absorbed nicely.4. Then apply moisturizer (I use aroma magic beauty oil) I apply it with cupping my palms on my face and don’t really massage it so that it gets soaked into my skin .N.B. I have a very dry and sensitive skin.

It works well for my sensitive skin. I use it every night after cleansing my face with some aloevera gel, it gets absorbed in the skin like magic.If your skin is dry I suggest using a moisturizer after it because even after applying it with aloevera gel it leaves my skin normal, it doesn’t feel much hydrated. My skin type is oily so I like the matte dry finish before going to bed, but if you are a dry skin type then you might need some extra mosturization.Though I there aren’t any visible changes in the texture of my skin after using it regularly for 2 months.

I love this serum. It is water based so it’s good for people with oily skin worried about oiliness. Works great under makeup. Vitamin C is great for hyperpigmentation, and I see slow and steady results as well. Since vitamin C oxidizes, I’m glad they have provided an airtight pump, been using it for a month and the serum hasn’t oxidised one bit. The brand is easily available everywhere as well which makes this serum very easily available. Loving it. Hoping they come with a water based serum soon for dry skin types.

I have rosacea and it’s chronic. So after much brooding i decided to incorporate vit c in my skincare routine. I opted for upakarma serum because it’s economical compared to other’s. I have used it for 7 days now both AM and PM.Pros:1. Has salicylic acid and niacinamide in it so it’s good for acne prone skin.2. Didn’t break out my skin as many reviews said.3. Not much but yes some faint lightening of skin is there with dedicated use.4. I paired it with sunscreen in the morning so there’s no side effect yet.Cons:1. Full of Fragrance. Which is bad for any sensitive skin condition.2. Over priced.3. Not completely vit c. It has lots of other ingredients.4. Results visible with consistent long use.

Product does add moisture and plumps up the skin. But it might be a bit too harsh for sensitive skin. Must be immediately followed by a layer of moisturiser or it will dry out your skin a lot. Good value for money, you need just 1 drop for your entire face so it lasts for a really long time
